Synopsis

A collection of comics and stories, including -- "The Coward Dies Twice" , featuring Blackhawk :   When the Nazis seemingly have the Blackhawks trapped while on their mission to rescue a scientist who has developed an atomic bomb, a young English pilot named Walt, thought by many to be a coward, takes his Spitfire into the air and sacrifices his life to save the Blackhawks. -- "The Fifth Columnists at the Wax Museum" , featuring Miss America :  Joan Dale, a reporter, is a typical American girl upon whom the spirit of the Statue of Liberty has bestowed magical powers.  Thus equipped, she secretly aids the authorities in their endless battle against the forces of evil.  Today, we find her hurrying down a side street in search of a human interest story for her paper. PLUS :  Yankee Eagle, Death Patrol, Blue Tracer, and more!!
